Description

The holidayhome is part of a farmhouse and is in a perfect condition.
The holidayhome has a joint entrance and behind that an own entrance, it is provided with sunscreens and windowscreens.
The outlook at sundown is unique. Domestic animals, like one or more dogs are welcome and free of charge.
Skilled attendant / dogwalker is in consultation possible / present, so that you can go out f.i. to a (big) city for a whole day. The dog can stay than in his own basket, he can be feeded in the evening and / or at lunchtime and he is walked out at lunchtime / evening on a totally fenced, own ground.
Bicycles can be stored.
The holidayhome is located about 2 km from the german border between “Aalten” and “Winterswijk”. Beautiful trips in nature reserve or to (big) cities are easy to make.
The landscape in the neighbourhood is called a “coulisselandscape”, which stands surety for rest and peace. Besides the variety of beauty spots there are estates with stately landhouses, like f.i. the “Scholte farms”.
Alongside the small brooks you can find the rare kingfishers.
Surrounded by the many woods varied by fields and meadowlands this part of the “Achterhoek” has more than 400 km footpaths, bicycle- and horserider-paths through this magnificient landscape. In short a unique area to discover walking, cycling or riding on or behind a horse. “Gelderland” at the utmost.
Further on there are several recreationlakes, indoor swimmingpools, a stonepit, several museums, old watermills and castles in the neighbourhood and don’t forget the wellknown “bookcity Bredevoort”. Also “Doetinchem” or “Bocholt” in Germany are excellent for a daytrip. The area is interesting for geologists.
